POSTER 3 PROCESS

I then began the finalisation of the drawings using a charcoal pencil, linking to the history and time of the story by creating a grainy effect and shadows, the darkness also linking to the sombreness of the story and the theme of war. The consistency of the tools creates a link between the frames, however the surprise of the spot of the colour red as the poppy blooms in the final frame instigates emotions of hope and love in a time of sorrow.
