Once I was happy with the final image, I overlaid the image onto the background pattern, the hierarchy of the components drawing the eye to the bold flower image. I added the finishing touches to the poster by drawing one thick black line to create distinction from the busy collage of geometric shapes, and another thin line to represent the root and stalk of the flower that also adds movement up the page that reflects the gradual growth of the creative process. I did not want to detract from the geometric pattern of the background, so i followed the line of the layered pattern, increasing the density of the line to show clear definition.
